Jay P. Lechner is a partner at Cantrell Schuette, P.A., where he specializes in labor and employment law and business litigation. With over 25 years of experience, he is a Florida Bar Board-Certified Labor and Employment Attorney who represents both employers and individuals in complex disputes. His expertise includes matters involving wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour violations, as well as restrictive covenants and business fraud. Mr. Lechner earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida. Recognized as a Tampa Bay Lawyer of the Year multiple times, he is also an active member of the Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section.
