Lanning M. Trueb is the founding attorney of Trueb Berne & Beard, LLP, with over 30 years of experience in maritime law. Based in Anchorage, he represents seamen and their families in personal injury and wrongful death claims throughout Alaska, Washington, and Oregon. His unique legal perspective is shaped by his former career as a vessel owner and commercial salmon fisherman in the Alaska fishery. Mr. Trueb has successfully handled over a thousand maritime matters, including complex cases involving vessel sinkings and oil spill responses. He is deeply knowledgeable in federal maritime laws such as the Jones Act and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients.
