Joseph C. Maya is the managing partner of Maya Murphy, P.C., a law firm with offices in Westport, Connecticut, and New York City. With over 30 years of legal experience, he represents individuals and corporations in complex matters involving employment law, education law, and commercial litigation. Mr. Maya earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and graduated cum laude from New York University. His distinguished career began at Clifford Chance in New York City, and he later served with the New York City Human Rights Commission. A recognized leader in his field, he has been selected to both Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers for his work in education and employment law. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in both New York and Connecticut. Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Maya is an active member of several bar associations and serves as the Chapter Chair for the NYU Alumni Club of Fairfield County. He is also an avid runner who has completed the New York City Marathon four times.
