John Cashion is a founding partner of Cashion Gilmore & Lindemuth, specializing in criminal defense and complex civil litigation across Alaska. He began his legal career as a clerk for the Honorable James K. Singleton in the U.S. District Court before spending 15 years with the Alaska Public Defender Agency. During his tenure as a public defender, he supervised the trial unit in Anchorage and gained extensive experience litigating cases in both urban and rural settings. Now in private practice, he focuses on white-collar criminal defense, federal and state criminal investigations, and strategic legal planning. He earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law and is an active member of the Alaska Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
