R. Michael Shickich is the founder of the Law Offices of R. Michael Shickich, LLC, also known as the Injury Law Firm, based in Casper, Wyoming. A fourth-generation Wyoming resident, he brings over 30 years of experience to his practice, focusing primarily on personal injury litigation for plaintiffs. His expertise encompasses a wide range of cases, including automobile and trucking accidents, oil field injuries, and medical device product liability. Before establishing his firm in 2002, he gained valuable insight into the insurance industry through eight years of experience in insurance defense law. In addition to his private practice, Shickich serves as a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. He is highly regarded by his peers, having served as President of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and receiving their prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023. His academic background includes a B.A. from Oberlin College and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. Shickich is also a dedicated educator, serving as a faculty member at the Trial Lawyers College and as the longtime Dean of the People’s Law School.
