Benjamin Rogoff Gideon is a founding partner at Gideon Asen LLC, where he specializes in medical malpractice, personal injury, and product liability law. With over 25 years of experience, he has recovered more than $300 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Notably, he secured a $25 million verdict in 2025, the highest medical malpractice or personal injury jury award in Maine's history. Ben earned his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and previously served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is one of only two Maine lawyers inducted into the Inner Circle of Advocates and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Recognized consistently by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers since 2013, he has been named Maine’s Lawyer of the Year multiple times.
